Artist's Description

This photo was unplanned. As the sun lit the sky on my right the cloud above started to glow. I knew I had to act fast to get the shot and at the same time I wanted to be in it. There are no photos of me without a coffee cup in my hand and this is no exception. Though you cannot see it, be assured I was enjoying hot coffee here in Death Valley watching the sunrise over the blue hills in the distance.

You are invited to enjoy evocative scenes of the world as it is and on occasion as it could be.
