Artist's Description

This Tote will look great when you are out with friends.
It is a conversation starter!
I discovered Hyde’s Mill while wandering the back roads of Southeastern Wisconsin. The old mill, located in a picturesque valley where farmers grow corn and the trees stand tall is a quiet place.
Built in 1850, the wooden mill wheel no longer turns. Hyde’s mill is on private property and I couldn’t get inside where I suspect there are remnants of old machines and perhaps a few remaining artifacts. There is a grassy area on public land along the road where people were enjoying a picnic on the day I was there.
To me it looks like a wonderful place to sit and wonder at an earlier time when the owner made a living milling wheat and grinding corn.
Today it may be a good place to take a child fishing or just lie back on the grass and watch the sun move across the sky.

About GLENN Mohs

GLENN Mohs

I challenge myself to find new and interesting locations and use the wonder of changing light and weather to present to you, the viewer what it feels like to be there, and to...
