Oak trees have always fascinated me. My days of climbing trees are long gone but this one looked like it was perfect for a child to climb and I was tempted. When the weather cools oak trees stand tall and hang on to their leaves until the last rays of warm summer sun are gone. Then they drop them all at once and blanket the ground overnight.
