Description
My mother used the little red chair as a footstool in front of her glider rocker in the living room for years.
Now it sits in my living room serving the same purpose most evenings while I am reading a book. On occasion it serves as a resting place for a plush animal, my cat.
When my three and four-year-old grandchildren visit, the cat is unceremoniously tossed aside, and they commandeer the little red chair and place it in front of the coffee table where they have a tea party.
Nicked and scratched, battered, and worn the little red chair could use a paint job but that would cover up the memories of mom.
The little red chair soldiers on serving another generation while the previous two look on and smile.
I hope you like the little red chair as much as I do.
