Artist's Description

In this part of Death Valley, the land once covered by water has dried to the point where the ground has cracked leaving interesting designs in the desert floor. With the Milky Way blazing in the sky above I spent the night in the dark and cold watching the wonder of the stars unfold as they marched accross the sky.
